Description
This area, which is part of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, is also well known for its wildflowers that colour the forest floor during spring.
Boranup Karri Forest is unique for its proximity to the coast. This is the furthest west that the tall pale-barked karri trees grow. Karris can reach 60 metres or more in height and cover the hilly slopes and valleys of the forest.
There’s a stunning scenic drive through the forest which is suitable for convention vehicles. You’ll feel dwarfed by the massive trees that line the road. Also there are many walk trails within the forest.

Thanks so much Rita. Where we live we are right in forest country. It is very green here in winter and our rainy season has unexpectedly started early this year.

It is with great pleasure that I announce to you a big congratulations for this chosen piece of your artwork to be on special display on the homepage of our community of friends and fine artists, in our Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery group. I appreciate your activity in our group and want to thank you so much for being an active participant in helping promote other fine artists within the group. Usually in turn, such promotions bring promotions of your artwork into perspective and are featured on our homepage. One good turn deserves another. Your quality, definition, character, and variation in your works bring about a visual pleasure to view and share with others.
