The wattle flowers in winter and spring in Australia and is particularly spectacular in my hometown. Wattles belong to the genus Acacia, in the Mimosa family.
Taken in my garden in Bridgetown, Western Australia

Thank you Jeffery. A wattle tree will grow anything from 6m to 30m. This one was about 6m. It fell over, which they tend to do, after about 10 years.
