This cute wombat was tentatively making its way down some steps and was completely unphased at being photographed by several onlookers.
Wombats are short-legged, muscular quadrupedal marsupials that are native to Australia. They are about 1 m in length with small, stubby tails and weigh between 20 and 35 kg. There are three extant species and they are all members of the family Vombatidae.

Thanks Lois. Yes they do and I absolutely adored them. I thought their fur would be harsh, but it's lovely and soft. They are like teddy bears. Wanna pick one up and cuddle it.
