Description
Taraxacum is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, which consists of species commonly known as dandelions. The scientific and hobby study of the genus is known as taraxacology.
The polysaccharides in dandelion are known to reduce stress on the liver and support its ability to produce bile. They also help your liver filter potentially harmful chemicals out of your food. Dandelion is also a good source of Vitamin C, one of the most helpful vitamins for the immune system.

Great Image, Elaine. If only they were not such a weed. Miss a head and you you have hundreds in a few weeks.

Thanks Deane. I know just what you mean. You have to be quick to get them before they seed.
