Description
Gnomesville is a vast area in the Ferguson Valley, which is in the Shire of Dardanup in Western Australia. It is the home of thousands of gnomes from all around the world, so if you are missing a gnome from your garden this is where it may have ended up.
Several stories have done the rounds as to how Gnomesville came about, but the most highly possible is that on the roadside, close the current car park, there stood a large redgum tree with a hollow close to the ground. A local resident saw an opportunity for this hollow to become the home for a gnome, so she placed one there. Another local thought this hollow needed a name and put up the first sign, 'Dun Gnoming' above the hollow. The base of the tree is still visible, although the tree died some years ago.
Gnomesville now has its special place off the roadside as the number of gnomes needing homes grew and grew.
Gnomesville also has it own website. "Gnomesville":https://www.gnomesville.com.au/

Oh, it certainly is Len. They are there in Dardanup for as far as the eye can see.
