Description
Milford Sound is a fiord in the southwest of New Zealand’s South Island. The fiord is home to fur seal colonies, penguins and dolphins. Milford Discovery Centre and Underwater Observatory offers views of rare black coral and other marine life. Milford Sound is named after Milford Haven in Wales, while the Cleddau River which flows into the sound is also named for its Welsh namesake.

Another great find, wondering how they got up so high, perhaps at high tide? LF
Elaine Teague replied:
Thank you Angela. I don't know how they get up high, but if you look closer the bottom of the rock is at the same level as the water.
