This is very interesting as I thought Christchurch had been near enough flattened in the horrific earthquake in 2011. How wonderful that a building with so much history was spared.
Elaine Teague replied:
We were there in 2017 and parts of Christchurch were affected by the earthquake that happened just prior to our visit. This old building seems to have stood up to that one too.
