Description
The Blackwood River is Western Australia's longest continuously flowing river in Western Australia, making it a top spot for canoeing or kayaking.
Just a 2 or 3 minute walk from home and I am there. Great place for a walk along the river trail and for a social chat with the dog walkers and local residents.

Very serene picture. I camped by this river once :)
Elaine Teague replied:
Thanks Bette. There is a camping/caravan site by the river in Bridgetown. Perhaps it was that one. Also one in Nannup.

Very lovely, I bet it has risen with today's rain
Elaine Teague replied:
Oh, it's quite high now. The Council is working on the river trail path so hopefully the path won't get flooded in the future.
