Description
The falls are in Beedelup National Park, which takes its name from Beedelup Brook, which is thought to be derived from the Nyoongar word Beedja meaning place of rest or place of sleep, fitting for such a tranquil area.
The major attraction in the park is the Beedelup Falls, which are best viewed in winter and spring when they are in full flow with winter rains. Tumbling 100m over granite rocks, the falls give the area its cool, damp character. A boardwalk has been built around the falls, incorporating a suspension bridge at their base offering passage across Beedelup Brook and an upstream bridge where water rushes centimetres below your feet.

Congratulations, Elaine! Is this the stream that has the ever-wobbling suspension bridge? If so, did you photograph from there? I couldn't :) "t :)
Elaine Teague replied:
Thanks Bette. Yes, it is that stream, but I didn't photo it from the bridge as far as I can remember.

I love little trickling streams through woodland. LF and congratulations on your WA feature

Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall...I bet this brook and surrounding area provide lots of enjoyment for its visitors. :)
Elaine Teague replied:
I'm sure it does Len, but it gets very dried up in our hot autumn and summers.
